Epic landscape.

Central Nevada is wonderfully eccentric.
Waves of lenticular clouds forming off the range to the south of us.
And the highway vanishing to the horizon.
We approached Utah at sunset and crossed the Bonneville Salt Flats in the dark.
A sign that we would have a fun trip. Smartphones meant the kids could keep themselves and each other entertained during long stretches of driving.
